January Challenge

Just have to say I joined this yesterday and am totally excited! My holiday gift this past year was supposed to be a tablet but we ended up not being able to afford it (can't imgaine why with buying gifts for 7 kids). So for the grand prize they are giving away an IPAD 2!! Even if I don't win that I still win so I'm excited to be apart of this challenge. I did the first video yesterday which is the only cardio one, oh my goodness was I huffing and puffing! I have such a long way to go to build up stamina, endurance, strengthen my heart and lungs, and build muscle... but I'll get there.

I've decided that I'm going to go to the gym two days on, one day off to give me a little bit of a break and a better chance at sticking with it. By doing that I'll still be going 4-5 days a week. The January challenge has a video every day anyways and I'm thinking that after my video today I'll get my belly dancing video and do my 30 minutes of cardio. :)

Totally psyched to be on this path again!! I'm already feeling better. Though, my people are work are harping on me because I'm a candy junkie at work (honestly it's just a handful of jelly beans) and I was trying to explain to them that it's small steps and if I try to change everything at once I'll just throw in the towel and binge eat... The skinny brats don't get it. S'all good though, they aren't my support system so I'm not worried. The people who are helping me understand and that's what matters.
