Science Project is Almost Over!

Tuesday, January 10, 2012

Finally! Last thing is printing out the pictures, typing up the project, and making the backboard. Of course, I am talking about my fifth-grader's science project that is due next Tuesday. She will be doing the work herself, but I have to make her. Which is, I think, harder than actually doing the project. I think this child is going to be a botanist. Her fourth-grade science project was "With Which Liquids Can Plants Grow?" This year, is "Which Liquids Kill Mold?" Her being a botanist is completely dependent upon her ACTUALLY doing anything in school, without her dad or myself threatening to take everything away from her, short of her life lol. She is very smart, just has no drive. Got to figure this one out.

Second daughter, my third-grader, is going to be a marine biologist. She calls it "scientist", but she wants to "help the sharks"! Not swim with them, mind you, just help them lol. She is my attention-problem-child. It takes her FOREVER to finish anything, because there's just too much going on in her mind. She is also quite content working by herself, playing by herself. I can't wait to see her science project next year. (Or maybe I can, having to help with two projects at once, YIKES!)

Third daughter, the Kindergartener, I really think she will either be a lawyer or a business owner. By business, I mean strip-club. No, really, she would run around naked all the time if we'd let her. She would own the business that puts her oldest sister through college! Of course, I'm kidding. She is just going to be the hardest of my three girls because she is already sneaking around, doing things behind our backs. Mostly eating yogurt, cheese, or chocolate, but she's still doing it behind our backs. She just needs to learn how to hide the evidence better! She is just as smart as her two older sisters, her teacher says she is one of the fastest learners in her class. She's just also a rebel.

It sounds as if you have your hands full with that mob. I can remember going through that with my kids. Somehow they all got through with a minimum of scars (probably self inflicted).
