Down another 1.8. Went to a bakery that specializes in sugar free and low carb to pick up some walden farms items just in case i am tempted to fall off the wagon the next few weeks. It does haveca tiny bit of splenda so i am going to try not to use it. It is only for emergencies. I bought the ranch mayo, the blue cheese, and the aprricot spread.

I know they are not on the program, but if it keeps me going and losing during those challenging days, i am ok with that. I just really want to make this round count so i am giving myself a few parachutes just incase.

I have discovered that a tiny bit of coconut oil on a melba toast sprinkled with just a tiny bit of sweet and low and cinnamon makes a nice substitute for cinnamon bread.

Back to that bakery - whoo whee cannot wait to get to mainainence to try some of their low carb goodies.

I splurged on some langostino lobster at costco for lunches. It was 22 for a 2 lb bag si i figure it works out to about 2 dollars a serving. It is already cooked so very easy decadent lunch.

Did a serving of eggbeaters with toms and one melba toast midmorning before going to the bakery ( they give samples and i wanted to avoid tempation), hamburger with onions for lunch, maybe a half serving of lobster for an extra serving of protein at dinner time if i am really hungry.

Looking back i should have gotten the strawberry spread so i may be making another trip this week.

Oh well. One day at a time!

    i use them too. and i keep little things like splenda and diet doctor pepper around to nicely handle the cravings...it helps me too from falling off the wagon or ending the diet to soon. who cares if one ounce isn't lost if you're happy.

    the dressing sounds great. Will have to look for the sugar free dijon.

    Best lunch ever - radishes sauteed in a minsule amount of coconut oil (I steamed them first in water so I would not have to use as much coconut oil) then browned them up and threw in 100 grams langostino lobster (so worth it at 2 bucks a serving!) and sprinkeled with a little garlic salt. Not quite the langostino alfredo i was treated to over the holidays, but wonderful at a fraction of the calories, fat and no carbs!

    Not going to do the lobster too much - it is too rich - but the radishes rock - I am going to roast them for my family

    I also find if you buy alot of spices and add them to your foods it helps me stay on track.
    I "stir-fry" my veggies in fat free chicken broth, no oil, and sprinkle with garlic pepper...AWESOME!

    I make my own dressing from ACV, garlic, onion powder and sugar free dijon mustard, and a sprinkle of stevia. you can add oregano or cayanne pepper for a different taste. I put this on chicken or on my salads. sooooo yummie.

    I also mix cinnamon with stevia and sprinkle on my apples, or strawberries for a nice treat.
