First New Year Weigh in

OK I'm a little behind I wanted to post this on Saturday, but we had a pretty eventful day around here... first off my "favorite" sister-in-law stopped by for a visit, she called when I was finishing up my workout. So I had to "be nice". Just as she was leaving she got a call from Mom saying the paramedics were at their house taking Dad to the hospital for chest pains... (he has had this several times already, had a heart attack, and stints put in, but refuses to change his lifestyle at all to try and be more healthy) Then... I know it just keeps going and going my son was running a fever all day off and on, and said his throat hurt, so I took him to the urgent care and he has Strep. Fun fun fun. No wonder I had no time to post!
So now on to me... I weighed in on Saturday at 198 yeah I'm down 4 lbs. I'm almost to my 195 pre Christmas weight, then I just have to get back to my last summer weight of 185, and I can focus on reaching my goal. I'm so proud of myself. I was worried too because my husband and I went out on a date (finally) on Saturday night, and I ate and had a few drinks, I was worried it was going to affect my weight loss. But I checked again this AM and I'm still good. So I can't wait for next weeks weigh in, hopefully I'll be down even more. Hope everyone else is having a good New Year Start!
