Making exercise a priority

My "default" mode would be to relax, read, watch TV, etc. The only exercise that I love to instigate is competitive: tennis or team sports. So, my DH and son are out of town (in New Orleans at the BCS championship game) and if it wouldn't be for the January Jumpstart Challenge and Alabama's January Jubilee Challenge, I would have been content to get a nap and chill! Instead, I put on Wii Fit and got in 45 minutes of step aerobics. Then I did Coach Meg's 12 minute seated core (or ab) workout. It may have been seated, but that didn't mean it wasn't a real workout. And just for good measure I added in SlimPam's exercise of the day for Monday, just as a warm up. I'll do those reverse crunches again tomorrow, because I really see the benefit they give as they tone my abs. So, I'm proud of myself for getting in the exercise.
I tracked my food and hit all my goals for calories, carbs, fat, and protein also! I feel so much better now that I've exercised.
