Feeling back on track, and good news too!

Pretty good day all the way around. Stayed within calorie range, and hit most of the nutrients that I track. Finishing my 9th glass of water as I type this, and have my lunch packed for tomorrow.

I am taking a class that meets for the next three Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The syllabus shows an hour lunch, so am taking my walking shoes to get in a good walk too. I'll need the break, and walking clears my head.

Oh and the good news, I saw the orthopedic surgeon today, and after much conversation...no surgery yet! emoticon
He is willing to wait, and see if I can continue to progress and heal on my own. I still can't start training for anything more than a 5k walk, no running yet, but still great news for me!

Since the 1st I have:
*gotten in my water every day (real water not just zero calorie drinks)
*stayed within calories
*met all but two of the nutrient goals I track daily (fiber and calcium still not 100%)
*met the exercise goals I have set for myself
*and the scale has finally been moving down....I kind of don't like stating this one out loud as my tracked weigh day isn't until Monday..but there it is in black and white

This week is the most positive I have felt since my injury in July. I thought I was doing okay, but I realized in mid to late December that I was barely going through the motions.

WooHoo for progress!
