You've got to be in it-to win it...

How many times have you heard this? What does it mean?
Obviously you cant just obtain something without entering or trying to get it, there may be opportunities where things are given to you, but you choose how the outcome is played out. As I was wondering what I wanted to do this year with my job, my career and if I really wanted to go to uni. I realised that I like so many people are thinking about the easiest way to do things...the "quick solution". How can I make more money, what can I do to get what I want the fastest way?..... Then it hit me- like a brick in the face or a cold sour lemon- there is no "fast solution"...but when you stick with something for the long term, you will benefit much more in the future, than if you keep changing your mind every few minutes. If I wanted to be able to buy a house, save money, live the life I wanted, make good money, I have to invest for a few years at uni. While this scared the unknown scaredy cat inside me, a part of me changed.

*click* have to invest time, you have to be in it-to win it!
How had in not realised this before?

So the new me realises that to be the skinny girl i have always wanted to be, i have to dedicate my life to living healthy. There really is no fast solution to changing and staying skinny fast (much to my dissapointment) but by gradually getting to where you want to be and learning about your body on the way, is it really that bad?
The new me knows that once i get to my goal weight/ size, that im not going to start living unhealthy, because i didnt “diet" or take the fast solution.

The new me has made a lifestyle chioce and change.

The new me has a favourite quote!!

"You have to be in it- to win it"
