broke the chain

that I started last Sunday, because I didn't do any exercise yesterday. Up until yesterday I had been able to do at least 15 minutes on the elliptical, or cycle to the closest supermarket. Yesterday things kind of fell apart because of my sons visitor. I am not complaining though, because she has helped him clean up his room, and put together the wardrobe for his stuff. They even managed to put some of the linoleum that I had left over from my own bedroom, on the floor. Both his friend and I are hoping this will keep him from using the floor as a giant ashtray.

To be honest I am actually quite proud of him. I can tell by some of the little things he does that he has actually started to grow up. Now of course I still have to tell him that. He is esp. proud of himself for keeping up with the job, three days a week. Apparently the job is having a positive effect on him. Although I'm still not happy with the crappy pay (not enough to get out of SSDI) I can now see that overall this job is a good thing. (hay, if anybody ever tries to use this against me, I well vehemently deny I ever said it)

Cycling to work this morning was not exactly a pick nick. I have hardly used the bike in over 4 weeks and I can tell I'm straight back to square one. I'll be exhausted by the time i get home tonight.
