Day 5 at the Gym

Today was Day 5 at the gym. Not in a row, but my 5th day going since joining. And already I'm noticing that it is getting easier. I did a half hour on the stair machine tonight. The first (and only other) time I tried it I only lasted 5 minutes. The elliptical, I'm up to 20 minutes when I started off with 8 minutes. I've always hated stationary bikes, but now think I could last at least an hour if they didn't hurt my butt so much...
Point is, I put it off for so long because I just didn't believe I could ever actually do it. I joined the gym at work a while back, but there were limited machines and noone was ever there to watch me screw up. The gym I'm going to now is packed because of the time I go and because it is just after new year's. And I don't care! After just 5 days I love going there and I feel like I deserve to be there!
Sometimes all you really need is to get started. The rest will take care of itself!
Hey - maybe I'm replacing my addiction to smokes with an addiction to exercise! I'll take the healthy addiction any day!
