How do you cope with temptation?

There's a chip shop at the top of my road, before I always used to think that the chip shop made it really hard to say no, but there is no question unless I choose for there to be a question. I ask myself if I want chips and then I find it hard to say no. There shouldn't even be a question.

Tonight I thought about it, and then I came home and made myself some oven chips. I might want chips but they don't have to be the greasy ones from the chip shop. I'm still within my calorie range for the day and I feel like I've acheived something.

    Good job coming up with a HEALTHY plan of action.
    You don't want those chips from the shop because they will only sabotage your efforts. There are lots of healthy snack recipes on Spark People to try and I bet you will like a bunch of them.
    Once in a while it's ok to treat yourself to the shop chips but you will probably discover you like the homemade versions better!
