ME! :)
I went to the gym last night, and, well, I BUSTED MY BUTT! I was...dare I say!?...AWESOME! Mike and I started with a rough 20 minutes elliptical workout...moving right along to a 20 minute strength training session consisting of hip abduction/addiction, captains chair, leg exercises, etc, then moved right into a 20 minute treadmill interval (2 min at 3.6, 2 min at 5.7) training. I felt AMAZING!!!
Until I tried to get up this morning lol. Boy oh boy am I sore! Like good sore, not bad sore. And gosh does it feel GREAT! So Mike and I went to the gym tonight...and I ran! We just wanted to start our workout with a quick, get-your-heart-going, cardio, and chose the treadmill. Since we wanted to be short with it, we set the time for 7 minutes and started to walk. At 2 minutes in, I set it at 5.7 and started my run. I had no illusions that I was going to last the whole 5 minutes...but you know what??? I DID!!!! AND it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be!

Then we did the pull ups and dips...well, I tried. :/ My shoulder just wasn't working well, so I put it on resistance of 15 and dipped down as low as I could manage without too much pain. The pull ups were fine...it was just the dips. Then while Mike went to the free weights, I got on the elliptical for 15 minutes, set at 14. Wow was that hard! My heart rate never got below 180! :/
But man am I feeling the last 2 days now! My whole body just aches lol. But that's ok! I'm taking tomorrow off of the gym, and going back hitting hard on Thursday :)
