Forcing myself today

Wow, I've been doing fantastic for the past 10 days: eating right, exercising great, feeling great. Boy, but today I bottomed out. Around lunch time I was so tired, I felt like I could just lie down and sleep. Well, I worked all afternoon. Got my main project done. My exercise buddy couldn't show up to do our Zumba. I had already changed into workout clothes but I just couldn't do it alone. I came home, ate a decent supper and took a quick nap. I also took a sinus pill and some Ibuprofen.
I made myself get up and did Day 5 of the January Jumpstart. It was great: Pilates, seemed almost easy. Then I did 30 minutes of cardio dancing with my Wii. I still have the headache, but it's not worse, it's not better. But I feel better with myself for getting my Jumpstart Video done, getting my 30 minutes of cardio. I also did the Alabama Daily Exercise: lateral lunges. I got those in before lunch when I still felt great.
If nothing else, I proved I can keep my commitment even when I don't feel like it.

    Some days are like that but you did a good job and should be very proud of yourself! When you don't feel good it's hard to get up and get going.
