First things first, the personal trainer at my gym that measures me couldn't measure me in December, so I am going to get measured in the up coming week to have measurements for January. Our schedules just didn't mesh well and she went home for the holidays. On to my goals for the new year:
1. Get down to 150 by April 28.... why April 28? April 28 is the date of the Nashville Rock'n Roll Marathon that I signed up for! Which brings me to my next goal....
2. Get a sub 4:00:00 on my marathon
3. Try a new vegetable/ healthy food every month.... I know December 2011 doesn't count but I tried Brussels sprouts for the first time and love them! January I am trying beet greens! I am actually going to cook them tonight!
I didn't want to have too many goals that I couldn't keep them so that is all of my goals for the year. Of course I am going to be eating healthier, trying not to eat lots of sweet and eat lots of protein and veggies and drink lots of water. I also am trying to get to bed by 10pm every night so that I can get up at 5am for Sammy's feeding and then the gym at 6am. I didn't include these in as goals for the new year since they all tie into getting to 150 by April.
