Drowning and Laughing (at least I'm in good spirits!)

Ok, so this blog is about me getting back on track, which means I've been playing in all parts of the meadow that weren't on the yellow brick road (Hey, Dorothy- I'm over here!)
I've eaten mine and a friend's share of Christmas cookies, never passed down a glass of wine, or a taste of someone's sweet potato pie, and have gotten so beyond myself that I actually had to buy a new pair of jeans (See: Eat, Pray, Love) for my newly expanded muffin top (not the good kind of expansion).
So, I've finally (see other blogs for other misguidings) decided to commit to my first 10%. I currently weigh (this is an estimate), somewhere between 260 and 265 pounds and am waaaay off the beaten path. I have actually been attending a Zumba and Pilates class for the past month and a half, but it conveniently took a break between Christmas and New Years, and besides, it in no way stopped me from eating ALL THE OTHER CRAP I ate BEFORE the holidays.
So in closing, I am aiming for 27 pounds by June 3, which will put me close to my previous weight of 235.
I am going to continue attending my Zumba and Pilates class once a week, as well as, adding at least one-two days of activity at home.
I am going to eat better and focus on eating fruits and vegetables 5-7 times a day.
I am going to limit my juice intake and up my intake of water.
These are not resolutions, but instead, my goals for my own weight loss.
