New Year! New Goals! Fresh Start!

Saturday, December 31, 2011

2012 will ring in within the next 40 minutes....
My first Sparkversary is only 4 days away.

Took the big step of resetting goals. I did well tracking the first eight or nine months and then seemed to go on hiatus. New Year, new Resolutions, New Goals!!!

The hiatus was not entirely unplanned. The decrease in physical fitness was not planned, but necessary due to injury.

Fact is I reached a point in the weight loss process where I was uncomfortable with the new me. I decided at the time that the best thing I could do was allow my emotional and psychological side to catch up with the physical and spiritual changes I had made. As the holidays approached, I made it my goal to maintain weight within a 5# margin (158-163). I have been successful in that endeavor.

NOW, I am ready to finish the weight loss journey! The goal weight is 135-140 pounds! The goal date is August 7, 2012, my 49th birthday!

Fast break goal is to journal 3x a week!

Flipped over to FB and checked out Message From God for Today. How appropriate is this:

On this day of your life, Kelly, we believe God wants you to know ... that it's never too late to get back on track.

Never has anyone gone so far on the wrong path that they cannot return to the right one. Never has anyone become so wayward that they cannot benefit from the true light.
