2012 Goals

2011 was such an incredible year. While 2010 was one of the most trying and hard years of my life, we were able to learn from our trials and truly savor every moment of 2011. We look to 2012 with excitement and anticipation. We know that God has a perfect plan for our lives and we can't wait to see what a new year will bring. With that said, I have been thinking a lot about the goals I will have for the new year.

I don't like the word resolution. I'm looking at my goals as something I want to strive towards. I accomplished my 2011 goals, so I need new ones for 2012.

Goal #1: Read More

I used to read a ton. In college I simply couldn't find the time and lost my obsession with reading. My goal for the new year is to rekindle my love of reading and always be reading a book. I hope to read at least 12 novels AND finish my one year bible (which I turned into a 2 year bible.)

Goal 2: 12,000 Fitness Minutes

This year I had 11,522 minutes. I think 12,000 minutes is a reachable goal that will require dedication.

Goal 3: Get in the 130's

I have 6 pounds until I am in the 130's. I really would like to reach that goal by the end of March. That's only 0.5 pounds a week which is totally doable.

Goal 4: Get Pregnant!!!!!!!

This is my most favorite goal! The reason I want to get inthe 130's by the end of March is because in April we plan to start trying to get pregnant :-) We will schedule a preconception appointment with our perinatalogist in March and go from there. I can't wait! With this goal, I have another goal. Gain only 20-25 pounds during the pregnancy and exercise throughout the entire pregnancy.

2012 is going to be great, no matter what happens. I wish you health and happiness in 2012. Thank you for encouraging and supporting me this past year. You rock!! :-)
