Happy New Year All (a little early since I'll be traveling but sincere, all the same).

I had blogged a little while back about OKC Landrunners and what a fantastic group they are. I received great response from that and a lot of inquiries wondering if walkers were welcome? Well, I'm including a link to the January newsletter, specifically inviting walkers! Page two of the link:

I invite you to join us for a walk or run. You will find an amazing group of people who are, and have been on the same journey we all are. As we look to renew and strengthen our resolve moving into 2012, consider making new freinds with the Landrunners-heck-come with me! I joined as a paying member ($20 for the year). The rewards are ten-fold, just in water stops alone!

I wish all you a Happy and Healthy 2012! emoticon

Thanks! Actually, one of my New Year's Resolutions is to get my running speed up to 6 mph - I'll check it out! emoticon

You know Susan, I went to one of their meetings back in 2009 to learn more about half marathons and running. Being a shy person I didn't want to join them by myself and I couldn't get anyone to go with me. I may have to join you this year to do some of my long runs. My running partner and I may not be able to meet up as we have in the past due to my youngest playing basketball. I will let you know and we can meet up. Have safe travel and have fun at the Packer's game!!
