Not so Merry Christmas

A brief update-dad's bloodwork showed he had a heart attack sometime yesterday. I guess the chest pain he had after he returned from the cat scan was probably it. I am not happy that the staff didn't call me when they found out and let them know they were to let me know if anything else happened.
I managed to talk to the cardiologist and the orthopedic drs today.
Even with all this they got him up for some PT and he walked about 25 steps to the hallway and back. I did get the therapist to agree that he needs to go to rehab for a couple of weeks before he can come home so she will recommend that which is good.
Guess we will see what tomorrow brings. I was at the hospital for several hours 3x today. Fed him all 3 meals and stayed to be sure things were going ok. I did come home for about 2 1/2 hours to go to our community Christmas dinner and that was a nice break for me.
