A Simpler Life

I've got to make a plan to uncomplicate my life. I have many, many interests--which have kept me from being properly focused on or dedicated to anything. I'm sure it's why I work in the Pit. I never committed to anything (other than my family).

Things I can't NOT do, even when I say I won't do them:
1. Writing
2. Gardening
3. Volunteering

It is becoming increasingly difficult to fit these in with working 7 days a week, trying to start a business, keeping a clean home, exercising and spending time with family and friends.

OK, you Sparking Superhero Multi-Taskers, how do you get it all done? I'm open to suggestions.

    I just do the best I can and have learned to let some things go. I guess I try to prioritize and hope it works out.

    Some things, like organizing photos, have been on my back burner for over a decade now. LOL

    I'm no superhero and I certainly don't get it all done. I barely get anything done it seems. I can tell you that I am still (after several weeks of effort) working through Chapter Two of The Spark by Chris "SparkGuy" Downie. It's helping me figure out where to put my focus so I can live the life I want.

    And why do you have to do everything every day? What if you did one thing once a week, one thing a couple times a week, and something else two or three times a week?

    I use to think I was a super multi-tasker until I realized everything comes at a price. So basically I don't get everything done and I am ok with it. (At least most of the time, sometimes I get really frustrated.)

    The trick is to get SOMETHING done, just one thing then to move on to the next. I set priorities and try my hardest to stick to them. IE spend time with my son/husband, SP activity/losing weight ... often I don't get beyond those two, but sometimes I do and it feels wonderful.
