Making my mind healthy!

The past two months I have been struggling with my depression and anxiety. I haven't been working or eating right. I have been isolating myself in my home. So I decided to do something about it. I am in outpatient group therapy 3 times a week. Not sure if it is helping yet; but it is a start. I have to take care of my mind and body before I can take care of other responsibilities.

I have to walk 20 minutes a day, eat three healthy meals, journal 15 minutes a day, drink 8 glasses of water and take 30 minutes me time a day... Sound familiar? You really have to take care of your body to take care of your mind. So today I put my goals on my page and I am going to start.

No more lying in bed for days. No more negative thoughts (as little as possible). This is not an early new year's resolution but an intervention. So wish me luck! For those of you who have not heard from me in a while; I apologize. I will be back up to speed soon.
