My goal for this month was to blog twice a week, alas, I have missed the mark! Thanks to a nudge from a friend I am taking a moment to post his one!

This week has been an opportunity for me to put into practice all the things I have learned over the last eleven plus months on SP. Overall, I am doing well!!!

I have been getting cardio in every day, many times for only 15 minutes, but often more time than that.

Friday night I tool the bus from Orlando to Atlanta. When I finally woke up I decided to go for a walk/run. NOTE TO SELF, and anyone else who might be caught unawares, when running in a neighborhood you have NEVER visited before...MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT STREET SIGNS WHEN YOU TURN!!! I was in Snellville, GA for the first time in many years, in a neighborhood I knew nothing about, not knowing the address of the place I was staying, without a cell phone, and without water, when a 'quick walk/run' turned into a 100 minute walk/run. I had missed a street sign when I turned and did nto realize it until I was on the way back and couldn't find the street I was looking for.... I did eventually find my way back to my brother's house. I still haven;t mapped the route to see how far my adventure took me. Will have to do it in the afternoon when I have some 'down' time.

I had time for some breakfast and a shower before we headed to my sister's house for her birthday party. I did well at the party. Decided to stick to water as the beverage of choice, managed to sample several foods but did not over indulge in anything! Enjoyed spending time getting to know my sister's friends and catching up with some relatives who were there. That evening after the party I had 2 crab rangoon, one egg roll, and a soinach salad with chicken breast and italian dressing! Awesome!!!

On Sunday it was off to the bus station for the bus riide home. Fortunately, the driver was having difficulties with the door to the luggage compartment, so when we arrived at the bus station at 1:57p for a 2p departure we weren't really late! The great thing about taking the bus was that I did not have the need to 'snack' to stay awake while driving...it was safe for me to read, be on the computer, or doze as I saw fit. Finally got home around 12:30a.m.

This afternoon I played Yahtzee with a couple friends then grabbed a bite to eat before going to my uncle's viewing at the funeral home. True to form I was running late when my truck ran out of gas!!! See Kelly walking down the street in a dress, wearing hose, carrying her little red gas can! NOTE TO SELF...get moving early enough in the a.m. that there is not a repeat performance ont he way to the funeral or the burial!!!

Stopped by work to llearn that I am working almost every day between now and Christmas...YIPPEEEEE!!!! changed into shorts and a tee, laid on the coach to watch White Christmas and fell asleep!!!

I have a block on my computer that does not allow internet access between 1AM AND 7AM it keeps me out of lots of trouble.

Those of you who do, please keep me in your prayers tomorrow. I am a no=longer-practicing Cathloic and the services tomorrow are Catholic Mass and Burial. Despite my firm faith and conviction I sometimes find it challenging to attend Catholic services like this in my former home church.

Three minutes till disconnect... will check back later!

I love the block idea!! "I have a block on my computer that does not allow internet access between 1AM AND 7AM it keeps me out of lots of trouble. "
That is not my issue but...sounds like a great solution for some friends!

I know that your faith is strong and does not have to be Catholic in flavor! God be with you today!

Excellent report! Most sincere condolences on the passing of your uncle. Like your body needs hydration, your vehicle needs gas, so keep it full, willya? It's dangerous to function without it. You'll "survive" the mass, including the recent changes with the "cheat sheets" they've put out for use at mass. I'm prayerful that you are touched by the Holy Spirit to re-ignite your desire back to your Catholic roots, Amen.
