Month 1 of Insanity-DONE!!! My personal review

I just completed mo 1 of Insanity and boy was it insane! There are days when I am completely drenched in my own sweat and lying on the floor panting when the workout is over. This has by far been the most challenging workout that I have ever done in my life! This is a no excuse boot camp style of workout. Once you push play on that DVD player, you know you are in for an extreme fat blasting workout. Most of the DVD's in month 1 focus on intense cardio, fire drills, and using your own body to gain strength. There is a cardio recovery DVD that you do once per week which incorporates stretching, yoga, and strength and it is not easy by any means. There is also a cardio ab workout that you do a couple of times a week. Even though insanity is challenging even for the fittest people, it is also motivating. Shaun T has a way of literally pushing you to where you never thought you could go before.
With Insanity I'm am beginning to see changes in my body that I have never seen before. I have lost 4.75 inches all over in just one month. My tummy/chest have always been my problem area and now it feels like the fat is melting off my midsection, my chest is getting smaller, and other areas are becoming more defined and toned. Even though there are days when I don't feel like working out, I suck it up and do it anyway. When I am finished working out, nothing compares to the high of endorphins running through my body and sense of accomplishment that I can hang with the big dogs! I committed to complete the entire 2 month program and there is no excuses or backing out allowed! Month two-bring it baby!!!
I love when Shaun T says "DIG DEEPER PEOPLE, YOU CAN DO IT!" It pushes me everytime.
