To look out the window

So much exercise is awaiting me in the garden as Winter begins to take hold on the piece of land I call mine!
All the digging, cement mixing, brick laying, planting and sitting back and taking in the fruits of my labours! Not to mention the great fruit and veg which will come from it all too.
I'm itching for new life to start again but aware not to wish my life away also!
It's too precious!

So glad you are looking forward to doing it Chris! I also have a lot do, but its so cold out there! My capsicums are still hanging on in the greenhouse which is amazing! But the sweet potatoes Sue gave me which I have indoors are giving up!
I am growing herbs indoors to take my mind off the outdoors and I am thinking of trying some lettuce and maybe some cress! I agree, its such a thrill when the harvest of your labours come in! Have a rest till January and then get the tomatoes on the go if you have a greenhouse! Least I think that is what you are supposed to do! So long ago I can't remember! LOL! Last year we bought from the nursery!
Have a lovely Christmas and New year season. Go and do some cooking! Adrian bought a halogen oven and has been playing, it should save us some money! So far he cooked roast chicken on and yesterday an apple cake! Its really looking good!
