Day Two: a woolly affair

Friday, December 09, 2011

I put on long underwear (wool), a woolly coat, winter outdoors shell pants, wooly hat (knitted by my best friend), a washing machine abused Pashmina shawl worn as a scarf, knitted wrist/pulse warmers and to top it off the most adorable woolly mittens knitted by my step-sister. It was in the low plus degrees (celcius) but there's lots and lots of snow out and some unfriendly wind, so to protect myself from freezing, I packed it on hard in terms of wool. (because wool rules)

Being restless, when I am not super tired and/or sleeping, I opted for a longer walk than yesterday. (Because I need to push myself) It was a pretty nice walk, despite all the traffic which I guess you can't avoid, being Christmas and all and Friday. The walk itself was slightly challenging and my end review is that it certainly wasn't too long. I got to walk past a lot of businesses that I haven't seen/noticed before and I kept the pace down so I wouldn't overextend myself.

A+ walk, would walk again.

*I'm going to add a picture of myself in each blog post, because I hate being photographed and I need to deal and get over that.

Good idea to bundle up, you don't want to get sicker. Take care!
