Down 2 pounds since Monday.

Weighed in this morning at 204, meaning I have a little over a week to lose 4lbs. I can do this! I've discovered that when it comes to smoothies, for me at least, simple is better. This morning my smoothie was Spinach, banana, mango, water, and a little date sugar because the banana wasn't very sweet. It was so good! I hope I have some mango left, because I want to do the same thing for breakfast tomorrow.

Sometimes, when Atticus can't sleep, we put on some soothing songs by the Dixie Chicks and look at slideshows of when he was smaller. Tonight I almost teared up looking at the 6 month pictures. It's so hard to believe how fast the time is going. Every day he is learning something new, and getting into everything. While it can be frustrating for both of us at times, I wouldn't change a thing.

One of the girls in my mom group has a daughter the same age as Atticus. Her daughter has Cerebral Palsy and painful digestion issues. I will never take for granted the fact that I have a happy healthy son. I made sure to snuggle him a little extra tonight.

    You are right..when it comes to green smoothies, simple is the best.

    I do kale or collards with strawberries and banana. Yummmm!
