You are definitely not alone here. Weekends use to do me in. Three changes in thought helped me a lot. First I stopped thinking about my goal as though it was a short-term event...I want this to last a lifetime. Next I stopped thinking that I was "cheating" when I ate certain foods; a lifestyle change is not about deprivation, but teaching myself moderation and balancing out the weeks in a healthy manner (food, water, exercise, sleep). And lastly, I remind myself where food is concerned, I eat to live, not live to eat and basically adopted the H.A.L.T. attitude. It only takes a second to ask yourself if I'm Hungry, Angry/Anxious, Lonely or Tired; an actual meal is had only if I'm hungry everything else is a snack (mostly healthy, but sometimes not and that's ok).

Change your mind about the way you view your journey and your body will follow!

i'm with shayla... i make friday night my "cheat" night and i have a restaurant meal (with dessert) anywhere i like. plus i make my official weigh-in day Sunday (even though I check the scale every day) so that I can't allow myself to overeat too much on Saturday.

yes. I have the exact same problem!! I've found that if I allow myself one "cheat" meal during the weekend I can usually be okay the rest of the weekend. That way you can still have fun on the weekends! I also try to get a short workout in and keep a water bottle with me at all times!

    Here! Here!
I have had to WORK ON and STILL WORKING on a full proof PLAN.
Its exhausting taking a few steps forward for 5 days only to ruin it within 48 hours.
Learning the 7 day rules for success is CRUCIAL TO SUCCESS.
I just keep doing SOMETHING...even if it is a water down version.
I promised myself TO DO BETTER..and I AM.
After a while it was emotionally draining to see -2/3 lbs. shed only to be +3 lbs. by MONDAY! ...smh
Keep sparking...your not alone with this one my dear.
