Holiday Dieting

Dec. 1 - a fresh new month filled with opportunity... and bake sales, candy, cookies, parties... filled with challenges.
I am on day 14 of cycle 2 of 17DD, and with Thanksgiving in the middle of it I have not been too successful. Did great til Turkey day - then allowed myself to enjoy. Which I did. Then back on track till I started baking goodies for the big bake sale which is tomorrow.
I CANNOT be trusted with all these goodies in the house. And today I complete my baking. Which is why I just filled up with my yogurt/cottage cheese/fruit combo. Gotta have a full belly when I begin.
I have learned a few things along the way tho which will help me.
1. I have to eat my fruit early - breakfast w/ fruit or a snack mid morning.
Then i mix the yogurt/cottage cheese with frozen blueberries and rasberries. If I try to eat lunch before I have the dairy, I just cannot fit the fruit in before 2.
2. Its ok to have lunch later - salad and lean protein can be eaten anytime.
Also a bonus - I am not craving food at 4 pm - no carb cravings, no hunger. Yay.
3. I can always go back to Accelerate. Got rid of the 2 lbs I gained over Thanksgiving by doing that for a couple days even tho I am on cycle 2.
4. Tea - I love it! I had forgotten how lovely a mug of tea before bed can be. It is a treat and helps ease me off to sleep. Tea is comfort food! who knew?
Thanks to the 17DD team, I think I can do this thing.
