BLC 17 Recap

This has been an interesting BLC. This is my second time around and this round was very different from my first time. For BLC 17, I became a Navy Ninja and I really felt at home with the team. I was off to a great start -- I lost 6 pounds the first week -- but that was because I was on vacation and had to weigh in at night. I then lost 3.5 pounds the second week and was off to a great start! I was almost half way to my 20 pound goal.

No negativity! (skipping all the negativity here, which is all being negative towards myself, not towards anyone else.)

Unfortunately, I somehow climbed onto a plateau. I have been basically the same weight since July. Well, that's gonna stop now. It's too late to make a drastic difference for this round of the BLC, but I am going to kick butt next round.

What have I learned from this round? I have learned that I really like the Ninjas. I have learned that I am competitive. I have learned that I need to focus on the food intake much more. I have learned that plateaus can creep up at any time and knock you off balance. I have learned that your body can just randomly gain weight overnight for no good reason, despite all the calorie counting and exercise. And I have learned that it won't be the end of me. There's always tomorrow.

I still have more to learn, but that has been a great beginning. I love the Ninjas! Yeayyyyyyyy Ninjas!!!!!

    Plateau's suck I had one from August till the end of September. Just keep doing the right thing. Try changing things up and keep pressing forward!! You will break through!!!
