I figured I'd put all my assignments down in one.
Challenge 1: 5% Winter Challenge Commitment
-I commit to working out 6 days per week: running 3 times per week, strength training 2 times per week and group classes 1-2 times per week.
-I will follow the spark diet and support my Shooting Stars team-mates with message board posts, goodies and any other encouragement.
-Gym bag is ready, grocery list is ready!
-I commit to giving this challenge my all!
Challenge 2: Update sparkpage
Challenge 3: Reasons for Losing Weight
-My list boils down to the fact that I want to feel better about myself. I'm not happy where I'm at....and that's really it.
Challenge 4: Trigger Foods
-My trigger foods are typically salty snacks. Drinking alcohol also tends to trigger my brain to eat more. I'm going to do my best to steer clear of the holiday goodies, because I know it's going to be a challenge (especially during December)!
Challenge 5: Update your numbers
-Done. Here's what it looks like:
Calories allowed per day: 1420 - 1770
Calories burned per week: 3000
Starting Weight: 142ish
Goal Weight: 135
5% loss: 7lbs
Challenge 6: Clean out the Fridge
- Good thing it's already barren from being gone over the holiday. New grocery list is updated and ready for this week. Bring on the fruits, veggies and protein!
Challenge 7: What tricks have worked for me
- Small things that have worked for me: I've eliminated salad dressing and now stick to vinegar, I've added more fruits and veggies for snacks that help get me through the day without feeling famished.
Looking forward to starting this challenge on Saturday! It's my third challenge and I haven't seen much of a 5% decrease over these past 2 challenges, but I'm ready to give it my all!
