So yesterday I had a big challenge. I didn't do so well. I'm hoping today will be better. I ached! and my ankle was and still is slightly swollen. I slowed down my walk, but, still did it. Which is a kind of victory. Then I sat down and ate 2 - 1 oz packages of cookies and 1 tag along cookie. (At least I stopped at one and not the rest of the box!) Then I decided to get away from the TV and play a computer game. Guess what... it worked. I stopped eating. Guess I should have done that earlier, but, ah well. Next time I'll try that. One thing I've been having a problem with is in the nutrition tracker. I will somehow end up double logging an item. Like once in breakfast and once in snack. At least I'm catching them eventually. I didn't see it until reviewing to write how I did in the 3 part challenge I'm in. So the day wasn't as bad as I feared. (I had put in 1 oz of walnuts twice. when I had actually eaten only 1 oz of walnuts total.) I need to keep an eye out on that as I go forward.

Survived the donut ambush yesterday! Didn't eat one... which may have led to the cookie fest. But I think it was actually more pain/not feeling so good related. I tend to eat more carbs/refined sugars when I'm achy.

I am scheduled to do wall push-ups today... which may stress my still slightly swollen ankle. I may do regular modified push-ups instead. let the ankle rest a little more. The rest of my strength training exercises are either on the floor or isometric so I'm not moving the ankle. I've walked every day since last Friday, at least 30 min. I hate to not walk, but.... the ankle issue has me a little concerned. I may need to rest it one day every week. I am trying for 30 min of walking every day. No excuses. But.... sometimes you just have to make allowances with RA. Over-stressing a joint when it's swollen isn't such a great idea. I'll talk with my Dr when I see him next week. This is the second week in a row that it started swelling on Thursday. Last week I took Thurs off and the ankle swelling went down. It was fine on Friday and through most of this week.

Glad today is Friday! Work has been challenging this week.

    WTG on your day. Also congrats on day 9 of no caff sodas!!! I wish I had the same will power. I hope that your swelling goes down. And I hope that you had a good weekend. Keep up the good work.
