Day 3

Remember last week I mentioned that a friend of mine wanted to learn to knit? Well, she wanted to make a blanket, but I told her she should start with a scarf because it would be easier. Anyway, she went home, googled how to knit, and made a scarf. So we went out today to get yarn for her blanket and I taught her the purl stitch. So most of the day was spent knitting, which was pretty awesome.

So this means my mom's birthday present is almost finished (yay!) and I can move on to some of the others (namely the ones that need to be sent out soon). I'm glad I decided to go for the smaller items this year - I don't feel quite as stressed out.
