What a week this will be!

Still hanging in there!! Keeping up with the walking and even adding some distance!! YAY!! I feel very good about my Thanksgiving eating, too. Absolutely did not stuff myself and felt so much better! DUH!
I worry a bit about exercise this week as it is going to be a bit crazy but I know I need to figure out how to make it work when I am not in my infamous RUT!! Heading to PA today, packers are at daughter's house. I will spend the night; daughter and hubby will head down to VA for walkthrough and closing tomorrow. I will stay with kids and packers (this ought to be good!!! what to do with those 2 for an entire day with packers in the house!!!!) Daughter and hubby will be home Monday evening and I will return home. They will do a bit of cleaning on Tuesday before they say goodbye to their first house. emoticon They will come here; spend the night and then head to the new house on Wednesday for movers. Plan gets murky here! emoticon Not sure if I will keep kids or kids will go with them. Will they spend the night here on Wednesday or at the new house? Carpets due to be installed on Thursday--will I have kids or can kids stay there?
Hubby leaves for CA on Wednesday! So I'll be on my own for much of this. emoticon Knowing I will be tired by the end of this week!!
I've had heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and aching in my legs for quite a while. Usually only after going up stairs or walking up a hill (my neighborhood is full of them). Finally called the doctor and have appt on Thursday. Anxious to see what he says. Heart palpitations started about 10 years ago with menopause and it was determined to be hormonal. I guess I just got used to them and didn't think much about them. Since walking I've been more cognizant of them and how they have become less generalized and more predictable. Hope to get good news on Thursday without a lot of testing scheduled.
Hope you all have a great week!!! I so appreciate your friendship and support!!!

Time to break out the tequila. LOL. My week looks the same and I'm too darned old for this. Rest?? Does that exist at our age? I'm not sure how I will pencil in time to use the rest room. LOL.

I used to have lots of palpitations but I gave up coffee and they disappeared. I'm caffeine sensitive. I hope that everything turns out okay with that check up. Let me know.

That is so great that you have made forward progress on your walking given the holidays and the busyness with the kids' move. Sounds like a very busy week ahead!! I bet your kids are soooooo grateful for your love and care. They probably couldn't do this without you!

How fantastic to feel good about holiday eating. I've been praying for you to have success with your health goals. Now, the doctor can answer some questions for you so you can proceed. These old bodies are so darn touchy. So good that you are "reading" you body cues. I've promised my husband that I won't ignore my body speaking to me. He feels more assured about my exercise when he knows I'm not blowing off the signs. Everything gets blamed on menopause or post menopause.
Thank you for taking care of yourself. We all need you healthy and happy.

Thank you for your friendship, as always,

Something tells me you're going to have the kids more than not, Beth! Have you considered cutting back on caffeine for the palpitations? Please do keep us informed on what the doc says.
