I feel like I did okay.
I was mindful and just ate smaller portions (or bites) of the high calorie favorites...mostly. I did splurge and eat an entire piece of carmel apple pie. :)
My goal was to stay under 2,000 calories and I did.
I am throwing extra time on my cardio workout tonight, because I was out of my target range of calories.
It was easier than I expected, to be quite honest. I dressed up pretty in a skirt that had been too tight not all that long ago. Prancing around in that reminded me why I was making different choices this year. And my hubby said I was hot. That helped, too.
I did NOT feel deprived or "on a diet". I felt in control.
*big happy sigh*
