This is a little late posting but I got measured on Monday! Overall I am happy with the results. I think that I gained inches in shoulders, arms and thigh from strength training.... or the trainer measured me wrong... any ways here are the results:
body weight 181 (-4 pounds )
body fat % 31.6 ( - .4%)
BMI 26 ( -1.3) still overweight but getting better
shoulders 43 ( +1 inches)
chest 38 ( -1 inch)
waist 36 ( -.5 in)
hips 41 ( +1 in)
thigh 23 (+1 in)
calf 16 ( +.5 in)
arm 13 (+1 in)
I am trying to eat higher protein lower processed carbs in hopes that it will help me drop the weight quicker. I hope to lose 6 pounds by next measurements, which will be around December 15 so that I will be around 175 for Christmas. Its not what I had originally wanted but any weight loss is better than none. I have found it hard to take the weight off after having my baby, but I knew that it would probably be that way since I always have a hard time losing weight. I can't diet and workout as much as I want either since I am breastfeeding and I don't want to lose my supply.
My half marathon is December 4! I am running 12 miles this Sunday as a test run to see what kind of a time I can expect to get. I have already picked a marathon to run next year as well! The Nashville Rock'n Roll Marathon April 28, 2012! Hopefully I will be around 150 by that time so that I can try and PR!
I am still workout mainly in the morning since I am the one that puts the baby to bed ( hubby claims he "doesn't know how" to put him to bed).
