Me and Jillian Michaels

So last week, I think I posted that I had joined Jillian Michael's website. The ad in the Sunday paper gave me a week for free plus 2 of her DVDs for free IF I paid for shipping. What I forgot to do at the end of my free week was to cancel my membership to her website. So guess what? $52 out of my pocket and I now have a membership through sometime in March.

OK. What now?

So I figured I would start by tracking my food on there as well as here on SP (I want all of my sparkpoints!). At any rate, I had to input a lot of data but that was ok. I still enjoyed being able to input my food. Last night, I discovered entire daily routines laid out by Ms. Michaels herself. They are about 30 minutes apiece, circuit style I suppose. I figured I would try them out but forgot that I needed to buy weights to complete them. So I'm going to try again today. What I discovered was that each of Jillian's workouts are configured to burn 500 calories a day. OK. I'll work on that.

Today, I played around with the site a little more and realized how much I actually kinda like it. Big difference from last week. On top of that, I actually did get my 30 Day Shred AND my Shred it with Weights in the mail yesterday. Considering how much I love Jillian, this may work out after all. Guess I needed to give her a chance. So I hope to be active in both places through the end of my time with her website. And who knows? Maybe I'll end up renewing in the end!
