A Little History...

Tuesday, November 15, 2011

I am 35 and right at 7ft. I have been on the weight roller coaster for as long as I can remember. I am looking at being homeless on Jan1st and have been scrambling for somewhere to go.

My family is fine just can not take me. I have friends and have lived at one time or another with a lot of them. I have been a hermit so to speak for a long while now.

I keep in good standings, always happy to put my best foot forward though have been struggling through life to say the least.

Nothing bad on anyone else, I just need to figure out how to survive on my own, and its scary to say the least. That is where I am right now.

The eating has gotten better and easier to maintain, now its just about finding a roof.

I been there before with finding a place for me and my family. I moved so much at one point seem just a born travler. With your medical condition however I would try speaking to someone from housing and apply for goverment help, Check with HUD and Soical Servies and see whats out there in your states. Best Wishes and Blessings

Hey X, thanks for blogging and letting us know how you are. You have a lot of friends here to care about you and wonder how things are going for you.

I have been on my own since I was 2 weeks out of high school, but I think things were easier then. That said, here are a few ideas. You've probably looked into them, but here they are: Maybe you can find a rooming house where you can rent a room in a house for a lot less $$ than an apartment. There are also people who want to share their apartment rent with room mates.

Try to stay positive, even though it is very very hard. Anyone in your church looking to rent a room to a super nice guy who can do some chores in the house (raking leaves, shoveling snow, etc.)? If worse comes to worse, it will take a while for your landlord to go to court to evict you and then actually get you out if you run out of time.

Sometimes even family will say they can't help until the 11th hour . . . Like your super confident brother-in-law who perhaps has a basement where you could sleep? I seem to remember that he had a lot of advice for you and your future.

    Keep in touch.

I'm praying for you. Just keep trying and

    Xavier-

Its very scary on trying to live for u.... Ive been supported by either my mom or my husband my whole life. I have never had a REAL job other then when i was in HS. So i can totaly understand where u r coming from and how u must be feeling. When the husband and i split last yr , i kept having anxiety attacks, its one thing to try to support myself... but now myself and a child. So to try to find a place to live and a job to help support that must be a very difficult feeling inside.

Im a huge believer in whats meant to happen will. And we all learn something from what happens. U will come out of this stronger then ever.

*HUGS* keep ur head up high hun.
