After my groin strain injury during the Rugged Maniac 5K, I can't deny that I felt sad because I couldn't run for a month. I had to let myself heal and I'm happy I did. The downside was finding the motivation TO RUN.

This past Sunday I watched the NYC Marathon on TV and there was the motivation that I needed. I signed up for a half marathon that same day. March 18, 2012 is the day. Tuesday I went on my first run. It was a tough 2.25 miles, but I know once I get consistent with my runs it will get easier. I just came home from a 3 mile run and I feel so good :)

Now I can enjoy the rest of my Saturday. I'm supposed to head to the outlets for some shopping. I need clothes for work and new running gear.
