My Ode to Sweet Tea…..and why we must part…..

Sweet Tea, Oh Sweet Tea…How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways….

I love you in the morning, I love you in the afternoon, I love you in the evening and especially at…

O’Charleys, Perkins, IHOP, TGI Friday’s, Red Lobster, Chili’s,
McDonald’s, Shane’s (BBQ place in GA), Mellow Mushroom,
Soulfish, Partner’s Pizza (GA)

And a dozen or so another restaurants I’m sure, as these are the ones I can remember…LOL!

Since moving to GA in July 2010, I have developed an addiction to Sweet Tea which has now followed me to TN, which we moved to in October 2011. It’s sweet, cool and refreshing, sweet, tastes so good, and did I mention it’s sweet. The oh so kind waitresses or waiters just love to refill the glass even before I have finished it. I can’t begin to even count how many gallons or calories I have drunk of this delicious concoction.

My dear Sweet Tea, as much as I love you and I really do…..we must part ways as I have developed such an addiction that it has overshadowed my drinking water….which is also cool and refreshing but has no calories. I am hoping that once I make the switch back my waistline will once again be smaller than my chest and hips.

So even though we have been the best of friends for a while now, we must part…but I will wave Hello to you now and again from a distance as good friends do when they see each other from afar.

Goodbye dear Sweet Tea....you will be missed....
