Days 3 and 4 no sweets.

Sooo yesterday we all know I slipped up (already?!) big surprise I know. But my compromise did work, sort of. I told myself if I ate that delicious donut then I would do thirty minutes of cardio and not eat other junk instead of sweets. Well I did exercise... but the other part... uhm yeah. I had some more chips. DAMN THOSE CHIPS. I think next time I am going to give them up for a month cuz I don't think I could do both at the same time yet.

Anywho, my exercise was about 40 mins of belly dancing, which is extremely fun and extremely embarassing lol. Today I did pretty good, I was at school and didn't have too much temptation there because my face was eating my book all day in preparation for my humanities exam ::shudder:: so that was good.

Oh! So this might sound weird (at least it does to my boyfriend) but maybe someone wil understand. I totally met my girl soulmate! I don't know if anyone else has ever had this experience before but I met this girl, Melissa, in my spanish class this semester and we didn't talk much because we didn't sit anywhere near each other. Then last week we saw each other outside of class and talked for seriously like 3 hours about tons of shiz. We have a ton of crap in common and honestly I think she could be like my life-long best friend and its creepy and awesome at the same time lol!

I always thought it was hard to find really good friends. I have one. It sucks because I can't rely on her to entertain me all the time and unfortunately in April she's leaving me to go to the Navy :(. So I haven't been in this having-a-new-friend situation in a long time and its a great feeling. Like we are seriously talking about getting an apartment together because her roommates suck and I wanna live away from home. So like I said maybe someone understands that finding a BEST friend is like looking for a life partner, and I am picky!

Anyway thats my recap for the past couple days and some personal life stuff too, lucky you guys!

Anyone having success with the no sweets?

    So I'm not sure what kind of chips you are eating but if they're the unhealthy kind, I have a couple of suggestions to replace them. They are better for you and help with that salty craving (at least for me). I live with my boyfriend and he is a chip fanatic which he can be, because he is a toothpick who never seems to put on weight. I needed to find a healthy alternative that he would eat. (I usually get him those mixed bags of smaller bags of chips, Doritos and whatnot). I had him try PopCorners which is a popped corn chip and he likes them and they come in different flavors. I also get him pretzels. For myself to help in those moments of weakness, I got Crunchmaster Multi-grain crisps crackers which are delish. They are thin and crispy and if you like grains and seeds like me, just awesome. But you are trying and that is the important part. Try not to beat yourself up so much emoticon
