I'm back, 5 pounds but no elevators

Monday, November 07, 2011

Ok, so, it was a fail, but not by much-In my mind - I can deal with the five pounds because I am still ahead in my overall loss. My scale says I gained 5 pounds, my clothes - not as much. My husband, being ever supportive, used the stairs the entire cruise, exept for the very last day when we had to haul all our liquor and stuff that didn't get packed the night before as we left the ship. And it was only one flight.

I tried to have a big salad everyday for lunch, but had to have dessert everyday, sometimes, twice a day. Everything I put in my mouth was super yummy and thankful I didn't deny myself.... that would have been sad.

Had only a few cocktails, however, one day I had way too many and missed lunch... emoticon.

I walked a few laps, several days, but not near the exercise I get at home....
I found it was impossible to get enough water. No soda, no juice, but I couldn't get enough water... Had fruit everyday for breakfast, some protein. Ah, but for dinner, over did the bread...... emoticon

I really, really missed SparkPeople and my normal routine. I am happy about being home, and back.... emoticon

I overindulged over the holidays, and sure know that feeling of NOT wanting to deny myself! Now, it's back to a healthier routine for the both of us! It sounds like you had a wonderful time, and I'm so glad you are okay with your weight gain, and now you can just set a goal of taking it off and you will be fine!
