Weekend Challenge day 4 (of 4) / STC Week 5 results

Sunday, November 06, 2011

I missed a day of my weekend challenge... I'm not sure how it happened. I read everyone else's blogs, but forgot to write one myself, lol.

Slowly but surely my sleep schedule has gotten out of whack, and it has thrown everything else off with it. I am so thankful that daylight savings happened when it did... that saved me an extra hour of adjustment back to my original schedule. I am sort of freaking out a little about the weigh-in monday because of the extra food I ate while tired and hungry....and because of the lack of motivation to lift a finger.

Oh well, nothing to do about it now.... sleep really is a vital part of weight loss, and hopefully I am back on track now.

Non-scale Progress:

Any Comments?: It's so hard to limit saturated fat during Halloween. GRRR! Must do better. It was really funny.. my average calories was down in the 2300's on Thursday, then Fri came along and my body was like "MORE FOOD" and I ended up eating an entire medium thin crust pizza... LOL. It brought my average up, but I am still lower than last week. I think trying to drastically limit my calories like that is not good.. I will aim for 2500 cals average next week..then maybe reduce it by 50 more the week after that, etc.
------------------

Next week's goals:
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
Fitness: Get on a regular sleep schedule. Run, bike, walk, bike, run! And keep doing high intensity strength training. Hit 300 minutes.

Nutrition: get my average daily calories down to 2500. Cook with organic local produce at least 3 nights.

I wouldn't be too worried about Monday. You can do it!

I like your idea of reducing your calories slowly. When I tried to do it from one week to the next, I went crazy and overate because I was so hungry. And I'm with you on getting on a better sleep schedule. I have been a walking zombie for days now. I am really going to work hard to get a schedule going. Best of luck on this coming week! emoticon

It really is important to get enough sleep...I'm struggling with that right now too. I know you will get back on track..and don't worry too much about that number on the scale.
