Whew, glad the work week is over!

Saturday, November 05, 2011

Golly. Several people got fired at work for "creative" time sheets so now we have a big crackdown and have to sign in and out for everything, which feels like a demotion from our previously flexible atmosphere. So there is tension in the air; people are snapping at other people. I even e-mailed my boss who was out of town (not something I would normally do) and she told me we would talk about everything Monday. Guess I better figure out what I'm going to say, or maybe I will just sit and cry like I did one day this week. That seems to be my response to my inner rage.

On a lighter note, this is super doubles coupon week at Harris Teeter, where they double coupons up to $1.98 I think so I am going to try it out this weekend. I've been having fun learning about using coupons, etc., on a website called southernsavers so I can keep stocked up on healthy ingredients and won't be tempted by takeout. Eating in is more convenient anyway, and a LOT cheaper if you have a strategy, which is what I am trying to learn.

I am still thanking God to have been migraine-free for the past few weeks. Yay! The topomax seems to be doing great as a preventive. I did have a cold, but that was not too big a deal--took some antibiotics afterwards for a sinus infection, but I think I'm about over it all.

I hope you're feeling good, sparkfriend. How has work and/or life been lately? What have you been up to?

I'm glad you are headache free - -even with all that work stress!! The environment at work has gotten toxic. I hope your boss has the right anti-biotic for that infection! I hope things settle down and get secure. the blog was written last week or so, so I hope things are looking better

Yay to being headache free! I get migraines and sinus headaches, so I know that being headache free for that long is a great thing.

Hope your meeting goes well Monday and you come out of it feeling better about things.

Thanx for the Harris Tweeter coupon heads up. When they do that it's worth the drive cross town. Your wallet will be so happy eating at home!

Glad you're doing better with the headaches, don't let what's going on at work set off another one though. What were those nimrods thinking, becoming creative?

Have a great week, lovin' the sunshine!

Glad you came through your work week ok. Give them time and things will probably relax again. It is always a shame a few have to ruin it for everyone. But now that those few are gone, perhaps they will have an initial clamping down to cool off themselves, before going back to normal. Hope so.
I am trying to fix more meals at home and more from scratch rather than processed mixes. I am also trying to move more. I can't seem to get in "official exercise", but I have hours of yardwork to keep me moving. Good luck! emoticon emoticon
