I have never done this before - make actual goals and put them to print. So here goes:
Goal #1) Lose 6-8 pounds in the month of November bringing my weight to 184-186 (my November starting weight was 192 - yah, yah..I had gained a few pounds last month but I refuse to move my ticker until I go BELOW the ticker amount
Goal #2) Lower my Fasting Blood Sugars to below 105 consistantly!
Goal #3) Survive Thanksgiving.
Plan of action:
-Track and measuring everything that goes into my gready mouth.
and that includes the things I don't want to track.
- Exercising @ least 1 hr. a day
- Drink 48-64 oz. of water EVERY day
- Sleep 6-8 hrs a night
for some this is easy but I am a serious insomniac with restless leg problems.
I know this is all the recommended advice we receive on our beloved
but like so many out there I do not always follow the learned advice of others. (my son and I were talking about this very issue today at brunch. I was telling him how my cousin gave me a plaque of St. Jude the patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes. LOL! she gave it to me b/c she said I always had to learn everything the hard way and did not listen to the good advice of others.) So there you have it! St. Jude pray for me.
