Week 1 = 2lbs. lost

I didn't gain, which would have been devastating.
I didn't maintain, which would have been frustrating.
I didn't lose all 10lbs. in 1 week, which would have been freakin awesome.
When I first stepped on the scale, I was thrilled. It has been a long time since the numbers moved in that direction. My plan is doable and working! Yippee!
After a while, I started beating myself up. I started wishing I had exercised more and eaten less. I got discouraged thinking about my goal weight being 4 weeks away at this point. For a moment, I considered giving up.
If I stick to it, at the end of 4 weeks I will be AT MY GOAL WEIGHT! I will be wearing a bikini in Florida. I am heading in the right direction and 2lbs lost is 2lbs lost. Rome wasn't built in a day.
So, the plan is to stick to the plan. One day at a time. Slow & steady wins the race.
