Not liking this trend at all. October was not my best month. I allowed myself way too many treats and too many “rest” days…. And it seems like everyone at work had a birthday this month (myself included)…..I indulged way too much, and half-assed the final month of P90X. Not how I like to go out.
So, no more sliding by with minimum effort. No-excuses No-vember has begun.
I’m rockin Chalean Extreme (my own Express version) this month which goes like this:
Day 1: Burn 1/Burn it off
Day 2: Run/Spin
Day 3: Burn 2/Abs
Day 4: Run/Burn 3
Day 5: Burn Intervals/Abs
Day 6: Recharge (yoga)
Day 7: long run or race
Week 2, same thing with Push workouts.
Week 3, same thing with Lean workouts.
Week 4, same thing, but one burn, one push and one lean.
I’ve already started…..with a few bumps in the road but nothing I can’t overcome—NO EXCUSES. I’m doing this….it’s just 4 weeks of solid workouts. I love Chalene's energy and the short but effective workouts. After surviving Tony Horton 3x a week for 3 months..... this is nuthin'!
Nutrition--- Only one cheat meal a week.... No overdoing it. More protein. More Freggies….Dare I track my meals several times this month for accountability’s sake? I say Why Not?
Will I ever finish the book I’m reading, YES!!! I must. I have long wish list on Amazon I’m dying to get through.
NOV 13—Divas Half Marathon…finally!!!!!!!!
Didn’t train for this as I should have…. but I still feel ready and good about it. Excited about the whole event series thing..... My first HM time was 2:05, my 2nd was 2:15 (with massive hills and horrible heat/humidity)….. So it make sense to aim for 2:10 on this one! Or less…… maybe 2:00?
