I am a fairly spiritual person. I am often in a routine when I am waiting for my son to come out of school of praying the rosary. I generally pray for my brother in law, who has cancer and is always doing battle against that beast. I find that when I do this, I am generally in a more peaceful state of mind than when I do not. But I could do more. I should be spending more time with God. I should also be trying to get back to my night time yoga routine, and some mid-day meditating. All these are good for the mind, body and soul, and would benefit me. The problem at this point is trying to do too much to get "back on track." So I think I will try to add a bit at a time, so as not to overwhelm myself.

I find myself looking forward to the season of Advent. There is a peace within that season that permeates to me. In the Maronite Catholic Church, of which I am a member, Advent begins within the next week or so, and I so look forward to re-hearing the wonderful stories leading up to the birth of Jesus. I think it is great time to re-dedicate myself to my spiritual well-being.

    I've been listening to uplifting music lately...in the car, been very helpful, also... praying when I can't sleep, in a yoga (child's pose) which I guess is a mixed metaphore, but I can feel my self relaxing

    One day at a time! Glad that you are back Tina. We've missed you! Meditation is one thing I'd like to do more of and really should set aside time to try it. Have a great Thursday!
