Danger signs: feeling sick

What do you do when you feel sick?
For me I think the danger is not so much while I'm sick, but once I start recovering. I generally sleep a lot, rest, drink lots of tea. But I'm a mom and I work, so I do as much of my normal routine as I can, too. So in the past it's exercise that gets cut out first to make room for rest. And then I put on a movie for my DD instead of playing. Chicken soup in a can instead of homemade food. That kind of thing.
And once I start feeling better I don't get back into the groove. It becomes pizza from a box, the movie goes in the TV and exercise gets skipped again.
This past month I've been under the weather with a cold. Just this week I feel better, so I scheduled time to go to the grocery. Without my DD in tow. That alone is kind of a reward in itself! Fresh veggies, fruit, whole grains.
So, I guess what I do already is make time once I feel better to shop. But getting back into my workout is my weak point, for sure. But maybe I can just start small. Like take the dog for a walk today. And then walk him again tomorrow morning after work.
And come to think of it, if I can schedule going to the grocery alone, I can schedule time to go to the gym alone. ( I already skipped two gym dates this week because I was too slow getting both me and my 2yo daughter out the door in time)
OK. This week is my test week.
Scheduling small returns to being active.
Still getting lots of rest.
It's a plan.
