Stress = gain

I can't believe I let myself do this again. 10 lb in just 6 weeks all from not caring what or if I ate. My dad has been sick so I am primary care giver, thankfully he is getting better and able to live by himself still. After I take care of him I could care less about me an anything and everything has been going in my mouth. I have to learn not to buy the junk food because it is going to be eaten in less than a few days.

Well enough I have to start today.

    Shadow...I hear you barking. I have a high stress job which can lead me down the same road you are on. The past 2 weeks have been nothing but stress, running around and taking care of everyone bu myself. However, I try to take at least 20 minutes every day just to walk to the end of the street. I may be exhausted and really don't want to do it, but I do. I may be 10PM when I finially have that time, but after I feel so much better andhey a little exercise is better than none right!!!!! I have also found that no matter what I have to pack all of my food the night before or I will fail on what I am eating. If I don't pack I try really hard to get to Subway instead of other places the will derail my progress. I know you can turn this around and do it as you are a woman which makes you stronger than you think!!!

    We can't do as well caring for others if we don't take care of ourselves, and yet so many of us will run ourselves into the ground instead. Take care of yourself!
