So, last night at bingo wasn't too bad (oh, and I made $3.00!). Since it was potluck, I had no idea what everyone was bringing. There was tri-tip and chicken (which was dry & only dark pieces), Chinese chicken salad, regular salad, cole slaw, bread, rice and beans. So, I had: 2 slices of tri-tip, some of the Chinese chicken salad, regular salad, about 1/4 c of rice and 4 tortilla chips. Now, on the table there was candy galore, licorice, chips and dip. So, I had 4 peanut m&m's and 2 chips (reduced fat) with dip (low fat sour cream onion). For dessert, I had a bite of cookie and two bites of lemon bar. Oh, and I brought with me my non-fat, decaf misto w/ sugar free vanilla. I think I did pretty awesome (considering in the best, I would have pigged out galore!!) I knew I had to blog about what I ate and I just couldn't do it!! Thank you everyone.
Today was pretty good. I ran 5 miles in 51 minutes. Slow for me, however, I was running into the wind almost the whole time. Not fun, not easy!! I came home, showered and had to run out for my hair appointment. I brought with me some almonds and a luna bar. On the way, I stopped off at Pete's coffee and got myself a decaf, non-fat cafe au lait w/ sugar free vanilla. I was at my appointment so long that I never had time to eat lunch before I had to get my DD. I ended up getting a special K protein meal bar. After picking up my kids, ran home and had the 0% fage Greek yogurt w/ blueberries. Oh, YUMMY! And, some baby carrots. Took DD to tennis clinic and then, for her to get her Halloween costume: a lady bug. I will for sure take pics and post! She's so cute. Came home and since, DH is out of town, I decided I wasn't cooking. Ordered Baja Fresh for my kiddies. I had homemade red beans and rice (so good. it's a weight watchers recipe that I tweaked a bit.) and a big salad. For dessert, I had Trader Joe's peanut butter & oat bar. Thanks SWEETNSKINNY! Tomorrow, I'll have to try the brownie one. Now, I think I'll go have something to drink and then, get ready for bed. It's 9:30 and I'm so ready.
So, day 2 went well and I'm ready to do this.
