The insides of my lower legs hurt. It's weird. I've never really had pain there before. I tried to jog this morning and that idea went right out my head after jogging just a few steps.
Are these shin splints? They don't hurt down the front of the lower leg, more like from the inner ankles up towards the knees. I hope it's not serious - I wanna sign up for another 10K in December, and I don't think I can if it'll hurt like this.
Maybe I need new running shoes. I haven't worn this pair for 300 miles yet, but I'm close to 200. Is it time? Am I just wearing them out fast?
OK... motrin, ice and rest. I'd add a compression bandage of some kind, but I'm not exactly sure what part I should be bandaging. My ankles? My calves/shins? Both?
FWIW I'm knock kneed, which makes me more prone to ankle and knee problems and is one of the main reasons why I have tendonitis in my knee. Grr... Ideas? Anyone?
